Education and Appointments:
Gao Lirong, born in September 1977 in Hebei Province, PhD, Professor, member of the Communist Party of China, member of the editorial board of China Measurement & Testing Technology, expert of the Basel Convention Asia-Pacific Regional Center for Chemical and Waste Management, member of the Chemical Committee of the Society for Environmental Sciences, and Member of Chromatography Committee of Beijing Physical and Chemical Testing Technology Society. She got her Ph.D. degree from the RCEES of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2006, and worked in the institute since then. She has been engaged in the research of analytical methods and environmental behavior of emerging organic pollutants, and has presided over a number of national projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program (NKRDP) projects, the 863 Program, several Programs of the National Natural Foundation of China (NSFC), and the research projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) etc. She has published more than 100 SCI papers with more than 2,500 citations, authorized 2 invention patents, made 2 standard reference materials. She also developed several analytical method of Ministry of Ecology and Environment standards and national standards.
