Education and Appointments:
Dr. Honggang Zhang obtained his Ph.D. at the School of Environmental Sciences, Beijing Normal University in 2012 and then joined RCEES as an Assistant Professor. From Dec.2017 to Jan. 2019, he visited and worked in the Institute for Environmental Genomics (IEG) of the University of Oklahoma. His primary research interests are environmental sciences, ecological engineering, and environmental microbiology, emphasizing the ecological processes and restoration and its environmental response in the aquatic environment.
