RCEES has engaged in many national and international scientific programs and made remarkable achievements in the field of environment and ecology since 1975. In the past five years, we have published 2662 scientific publications including 1518 SCI papers, which make RCEES the top research institute in the field of resource and environment field of China for publication quantity and citation rate. Beyond that, RCEES get more than 200 patents and 150 important awards.
The National Natural Science Award is awarded yearly by the State Council to reward Chinese citizens who have made outstanding scientific discoveries in clarifying natural phenomena, characteristics and mechanism in basic research fields such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, geo-science and bio-science and in applied basic research fields such as information, material and engineering technology.
The National Science and Technology Progress Award is conferred by the State Council to individuals or organizations who make great contributions to application and popularization of advanced scientific and technological achievements, or to the accomplishment of major scientific and technological projects, programs, and plans.
