CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Water and Environment (CAS-TWAS CEWE) is established in the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The goal of CEWE is to culture the professionals in the field of water and environment for the developing world through training, education and joint research programs.
Water and Sanitation Training Program consists of lectures, technical tours, workshops and other related events. In 2020, CEWE will initiate new mode of joint training program with UN Habitat for water professionals from the developing and emerging countries. All expenses for approved applicants, including airfare, accommodation and registration, will be covered by CAS-TWAS CEWE.
Application and Selection Process
Applicants should be fulfilled with the following requirements:
Professionals including officials, technical staff and researchers from public water sectors and governmental agencies in the developing or emerging countries
Education background: master degree or above, or with bachelor degree and good professional experience
Below the age of 40, or those with sufficient professional experience below 45
Good language skill in English
Women are especially encouraged to apply
