RCEES and EAWAG carry out international cooperation research |

EAWAG deputy director Professor RikEggen and Dr. Christian Stamm visited the Key Laboratory of Drinking Water Science and Technology, RCEES, on Nov. 26-27. They attended the kick-off meeting of a National Natural Science Foundation of China international cooperative research project “Impacts of micropollutants from wastewater treatment plants on the aquatic ecosystem of receiving rivers”. Academician Professor Jiuhui Qu and RCEES deputy director Professor Min Yang introduced the objectives, background, merits and importance of the project, and also the main research activities of key members. Other members from RCEES reported the basis and plans of the project. Professor RikEggen and Dr. Christian Stamm introduced the process and experience of a relevant project in EAWAG. RCEES and EAWAG discussed the current problems, the plans in future and division and cooperation, and finally reached a cooperation agreement.
