On 27th August, accompanied by the officer in the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, a five-member-EPA Delegation led by Lek Kadeli, the Acting Assistant Administrator in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), who was attending the China-U.S. Joint Working Group on Environmental Research in Beijing paid a visit to RCEES. Prof. Dr. Guibin Jiang extended a warm welcome to the EPA guests and made an overall introduction concerning RCEES development and achievements. Lek Kadeli expressed his heartfelt thanks to Guibin Jiang. A friendly talk between them on mutual concern and potential cooperation and a lab tour on the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology (SKLECE) followed.
