On October 15, a French Delegation of Programme Zhangheng sponsored by French Embassy in China paid a visit to RCEES. Four young French scientists, Prof. Yujing Mu from the Department of Atmospheric Chemistry and Prof. Jianxin Yang together with young fellows from the State Key Laboratory of Urban and Regional Ecology, RCEES, exchanged their research interests and made following animated discussions. Both sides believed that this meeting greatly enhanced mutual understanding and was of benefit to promoting long-term bilateral cooperation in the future.

Programme Zhangheng was initiated by French Embassy in China in 2011, which aims at helping a group of young French researchers or engineers discover researches as carried out in China in their field of research and identify potential partners.
