On Nov. 29, Prof. Qu Jiuhui, Director of RCEES, together with Prof. Yang Min, director of the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Aquatic Chemistry, met with Mr. Kiyoshi Hashimoto, President and CEO of ORGANO Corporation, Japan, and his entourage.

Since the startup in 2007, Organo Water Scholarship (OWS) jointly sponsored by ORGANO CORPORATION and RCEES has become more and more famous among the students engaging water environmental studies. Up to present, 48 candidates in total have been awarded the 1st and the 2nd prizes.

The visit aims at strengthening further mutual understanding and bilateral cooperation between ORGANO and RCEES, and discussing how to further broaden the influence of OWS.

Prof. Qu Jiuhui gave constructive suggestions for improving the scholarship selection. Both sides initially determined the time and location of the 5th OWS event. Later, the ORGANO delegation took a lab tour led by Prof. Yang Min, and sang high praises for RCEES R&D prosperity.
