  Dr. Liu, Jiyan is the principal investigator of the NSFC general programs of“Study on the environmental pollution, transformation, and fate of typical brominated flame retardants of PBDEs, HBCDs and TBC in the shellfish from Bohai Bay” and “Study on the translocation and transformation of OH- and MeO-PBDEs in plants”, was the principal investigatorofthe NSFC general programs of“study on the metabolism of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polybrominateddiphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in plants” , “study on the applications of nano gold for environmental sample pretreatment techniques”, “preparation new fibers of solid phase microextraction and its application on direct in vivo sampling”. She wasalso the principal investigatorof the program “study on the the metabolism of emerging PTS of polybrominateddiphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in plants” of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is the main participant of National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) of“Pollution characteristics, interfacial behaviors and remediationtechnology principles of combined organic contaminants in soils” and was the main participant of 973 Program of “fate, toxic features and controls of POPs”, participated “environmental safety, trend and control of persistent organic pollutants”.
