Education and Appointments：

　　Dr. Liu graduated from Harbin University of Architecture & Engineering (China) in 1982, and worked in this university as a lectuer, associate professor and professor respectively. During 1994-1996 and 1998-1999, as a research fellow of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences, work in Institute of Environmental Sciences of TNO (the Netherlands) and carried out the researches of the innovative technologies for wastewater treatment and waste gases treatment, respectively. Since 1999, work in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES).

Research Interest：

My works are focusing on research and application of theory and technology on water pollution control and wastewater reuse, including the biological treatment technologies of wastewater, VOC and odour and sludge.

Selected Publications：

Over 130 papers have been published.

Supported Projects：

Over 50 research projects that had carried out or are doing, including international cooperation projects, Chinese government projects, "863 plan" projects, NSFC projects and CAS projects.

Honors：

One national and four ministry or province awards for the Progress of Science and Technology were obtained.
