Dr. Wang got his Ph.D degree from Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. He studied in the Centre for Materials and Coastal Research GmbH, Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthach, Germany as a visiting scholar from Jun. 2017 to Jun. 2018. His research interest is focused on the analytical methods and environmental behaviors of legacy and emerging persistent organic pollutants (POPs), such as polychlorodibenzodioxin/furans (PCDD/Fs), organophosphate and brominated flame retardants (OPFRs & BFRs). He also studied chiral signature of several POPs to indicate the environmental process and biotic effect in the remote area. He has published more than 50 SCI papers, a number of which were related to POPs in the remote areas including Tibet, the Arctic and Antarctic areas.
