Dr. Wei Luo was born in 1972 in Sichuan Province, got his bachelor degree in environmental engineering in Xichang College, Sichuan Province in 1994, master degree in ecology in China Agricultural University in Beijing in 2001, and PhD degree in ecology in Lab of Environmental Remediation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China in 2004. Since then, he worked as an assistant and associate professor in Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), CAS, Beijing, China. He had ever studied in the Department of Animal Ecology of the VU University (VU) in the Netherlands and Department of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Exeter in UK as a visiting scientist. Up to now, he have presided 17 research projects, including China Natural Science Funding, National Basic Research Program, and published 110 peer-reviewed journal papers (including 56 SCI papers and 54 papers in Chinese).
