Dr. Hongtao Zhao is focusing on urban diffuse pollution and its control technology. He has published over 30 scientific papers, including Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, Environmental Pollution, Journal of Hydrology, Chemosphere, Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Hazardous Materials and so on.
