Background:

Rolf D. Vogt is a professor in environmental chemistry and leader of the research group of Analytical Chemistry and Environment and leads the group of Environment Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo. Vogt has been conducting research on environmental problems in China for more than 20 years, and is presently project manager for a large bilateral Sino-Norwegian CHINOR interdisciplinary research project on eutrophication.
